How do we make decisions?


This is a question I ask myself every morning during my teeth brushing ritual.

Is it purely flashy packaging that attracts a consumer to buy a product or is it just convenience or familiarity which gets her to throw a product in the shopping cart?

I function as a University Professor of Marketing, but in practice I am a student dedicated to this discipline for a lifetime. I also help students understand these questions.

Marketing is more than just buying and selling products – it is also about creativity and innovation. One challenge in marketing is making your message memorable, which is especially crucial in today’s information age. If a consumer’s interest is peaked, more information can follow with greater detail.
